A large and flexbile location for hire and film unit base in Richmond, South West London
Richmond Athletic Ground (The RAG) is based in the heart of Richmond and is exceptionally well-located for Central London, the M3, M4, M25 and Heathrow Airport. The ground has parking for 300 cars and is frequently used as a film unit base and crew parking for productions in the Richmond and South West London area.
We are fortunate to be able to offer one of the largest and most-flexible film unit base in Richmond with the ability to hire our facility from one day to multiple weeks.
We are also a popular shoot space for advertising and editorial video and stills projects. The combination of having two large rooms for use as a studio or production office, coupled with significant outside space provided by our pitches, makes Richmond Athletic Ground a unique facility that producers return to time and time again.
Richmond Athletic Ground also boasts a historic Victorian sports pavilion and changing rooms, and a distinctive 1950s concrete grandstand. Both offer terrific aesthetic options.
We have a flat-rate charge of £200/hour (plus VAT) for commercial filming. This gives you access to the whole estate (as available on the day).
We can support your shoot with our substantial in-house catering operation.

The Murray Judd Room
The Murray Judd Room has a bar that runs the length of the room and additionally, has a patio overlooking the main pitch which may be accessed through the large bi-fold doors.
The Club Room
The Club Room is a very flexible space with a neutral design scheme. The room can be adapted for many purposes
Outdoor Facilities
We have an array of different outdoor facilities including Pitches, Games Area, Astro Turf and parking.
